Subprocessors

Last updated: October 5, 2026

These are the providers The Wise Brands LLC uses to provide Parlo and that may process personal data of the stores' customers. This page is informative: the list that binds each store is the one in Annex III of its data processing agreement on the date it accepts it. Before adding or changing a provider, we notify the stores by email 30 days in advance and they can object.

17TRACKAsking the carrier for a shipment's status when a customer asks about their order and Shopify cannot tell where it isFrom Parlo: the tracking number, the carrier code when known and a random internal identifier that says nothing about the shopper; only with the carrier PostNL, also the destination country; only with GLS Spain, Paack, Envialia, Ontime, TIPSA, Mondial Relay and InPost Spain, also the postal code of the order's delivery address; and with SEUR, the postal code and the last four digits of the sender phone number of the store itself, never the shopper's. When we know a shipment has been delivered, we ask 17TRACK to stop tracking it after 24 hours, and 150 days after registering it we ask it to delete it.

Other providers that are not processors of the stores' data

  • Stripe collects subscriptions. It receives the email address of the person who runs the store and the payment data that person gives it directly. It receives no data about the stores' customers. It is a United States company. It is a provider of ours for our own billing, not a processor of the processing we do on behalf of the stores.
  • Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., United States) delivers the emails Parlo sends to the people who run each store: the alerts that the store has reached 80% or 100% of its plan's conversations, that the first charge is coming up or that the subscription is paused; the link to create the account and the PDF copy of the accepted terms; and, if the store receives it by email, the weekly report (figures and the names of the store's products and carriers with the most requests). It receives that person's address, the store's name, the text of the email (in the alerts: the plan, the conversations used and included, the day the trial ends, what will be charged and whether a card is missing, never which one) and, at sign-up, the PDF of the terms. It never writes to a store's customer, and of their data it only receives what the portal notices carry (above). We have open and click tracking switched off: it adds no pixels and does not change links. It sends from its Ireland region, but stores account data, the metadata of each send and its logs in the United States. Safeguard according to its data processing agreement: EU standard contractual clauses and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
  • Cloudflare (Turnstile) checks, on the sign-up page, that whoever fills it in is a person. It sees the connection of whoever signs up (their IP address, their browser and technical signals); that person is not a store's customer, so here it acts as a provider of ours.
  • Microsoft (Microsoft 365), Google (Gmail, in testing) and Shopify are the store's own providers. Parlo connects to them with the permission the store gives and can withdraw whenever it wants. In Shopify, besides reading, Parlo can change an order's shipping address if the store turns it on for its customers' portal. The code the customer asks for to change that address also goes out through the store's email provider, from its mailbox. The store has its own contract with them.
  • Slack is not a provider of ours: if a store connects one of its channels, we send it alerts there with counts, the store's name, links to the application and, in the weekly report, the names of its products and carriers with the most requests, without data about its customers except the order number in the portal notices. Also the alerts about the plan's quota, the day the trial ends (without the amount) and a paused subscription. The store chooses and contracts it.
  • The provider of the mailbox where we receive info@parlodesk.com receives the queries and data rights requests sent to us, including those from the stores' customers.
  • Discord (United States) is where we receive the error alerts Sentry sends. They arrive already filtered: error name, store and page, with no data about the stores' customers. That is why it is not a processor of the data we handle on the stores' behalf. We delete those alerts after 90 days at most.
  • Tailscale (the private network through which we administer the server) and GitHub (where the code lives) receive no store data.
